Silversmith has been awarded a Big Dance Micro Grant to create a community dance performance for The Holloway Arts Festival 2012 (supported by Rowan Arts)! 3 Silversmith dance facilitators and costume designer Nadia Malik will work with volunteer performers (with or without dance experience) from the Borough of Ilsington to create a dance performance based on 1950's skiffle to be performed for a family audience. Thou Shalt was recently performed at St Pauls Church, as part of Workin Process 4. As well as looking into other indoor performances of the work, Silversmith will be exploring the potential of Thou Shalt as an outdoor performance piece. Watch this space for future developments!
